New IP 40 Owner

Hello everyone. My wife and I just bought an IP40 (hull #69), and are excited to be joining the IP community. The boat is currently located in Fort Lauderdale and my wife, daughter and I are planning to spend January and February in Biscayne Bay and in the Keys before bringing the boat up the west coast of Florida and around to Mobile Bay. Hopefully we will have the opportunity to meet some fellow IP owners down there soon.

Also the boat is currently docked at a private residence and I can keep it there through December, but I can't stay on the boat while it's at its current dock. So if anyone knows of a dock available for December that would allow me to stay on the boat for a week or so while I get the boat ready, that would be great. Not looking forward to paying for a hotel while working on the boat.

Welcome and congratulations on buying and IP 40, one of my favorite models. That is a great boat.

We know of friends that will be staying in Fort Lauderdale at the City Marina where we understand the rate is $1.85/foot. Not bad for the location. It is called the Las Olas Marina, Fort Lauderdale, Fl. Here is the link. I would call and book now.

Note:
We will be in Biscayne Bay Early December and then down to Marathon Key for Dec 15-Jan 15 then up to the Florida West Coast because it is so nice also. We hope to bump into you.
