Virgin Island Sailing on LA40

John and Nancy invited us (Radeen and Hayden) down to the islands for a shakedown cruise in preparation for our team building and upcoming Atlantic Crossing in June 2011. We sailed St. Thomas to the Spanish Virgin Islands and then back to St. Johns and up into the BVIs. We had a great sail in 30 knots of solid wind giving us an opportunity to work the reefing systems and all points of sail in 30 knots. John is a gourmet chef and prepares incredible meals and Nancy made us feel so welcome. Radeen and I are very excited to cross the ocean aboard Larking About especially with such great owners who have so many ocean passages under their belt.
