CB Sheave Box - Rusted Out

While inspecting the bilge this spring I noticed rust coming through the sealant covering the sheave box at the center board trunk. Removing the sealant revealed that the weld holding the tube to the plate had rusted through and there were many pin holes in the plate. Had to have the boat lifted so we could remove the sheave box as it is thru-bolted to the hull. This is what it looks like out of the boat. Having a new one fabbed out of 316 and we will not cover it in sealant so it will be exposed to O2.
