Assembled. From right to left: Snap cover through webbing to snap socket; gypsy (double) stud #1 through webbing to gypsy stud #2; snap socket, webbing, snap cover. The top loop goes around the lifeline -- make it larger to go around a handrail. The bottom loop goes through (and, if you like, around) the coil of line you're securing -- make it the size you need for the coil at hand.
