   Ed Finn, I can reach into the chain locked from the v-berth. I can also get both arms into the door and reach up. It's not fun.

   We simply ran new battery cables from the solenoid in the sail locker up to the deck.

   Really prefer the horizontal over vertical. Plus I like all of it above deck for service. Its easier to work on.
