Hurricane Ivan visits Pensacola

Ivan visited Pensacola 9/16. These are pictures of Palafox Pier and Port Royal Marinas on 9/19. There were three IPs here. All had minor cap rail and stanchion damage but little more. These were floating docks that floated over the pilings with the 12+ ft surge and 100+ knot winds.Many boats were badly damaged and a number sank.
