Whisker Pole Rigging

These photos show the whisker pole rigging in IP35-165, Island Spirit. We have a simple uphaul/downhaul and we also use a simple topping lift on the pole end. When wing on wing we use the lazy sheet and trap in under the bow cleat then pull it back to the lazy primary. This will pull the pole fwd and keep it off the lower shroud. The topping lift is our old cutter boom topping lift. We removed the cutter boom since it is not needed. We store the pole on the front side of the mast.
