Hinged Nav Seat Back
Visibility Public
Jeff and I (Hayden) discovered this hinging nav seat back on the new Sabre 38 at the Phila. Sailboat show Jan. 2005. We both think this idea could work on our IP35s. This was such a good idea and it was like all inventions, SIMPLE. The seat back is hinged to the outside wall and the support leg slides up and down to allow clearance when hinging over the middle seat cushion. When hinged into the stored position, the middle seat back becomes the seat back next to the nav desk. This is such a great idea. I may have to add this to my IP35/IP36, then she could be an IP365!
