Cutter Stay Rigging

Here are some photos of a removable cutter stay on a Hylas 49. I think this set up could work well on an IP provided you could give up the roller furling cutter. I view the cutter as a sail for strong offshore storm conditions. With this set up, you could sail a sloop and then when needed you could rig this stay and deploy a cutter sail. Seems like a good solution. IMHO! Hayden Cochran
