While not really a wood worker, we just had to have a bow seat!
The factory stern seats are wonderful, but this bow seat makes for better dreaming. Two uprights in the bow pulpit restrain it. It locks in without fasteners of any kind and can be removed without tools.
A kayak backrest with adjustable nylon straps would be a great addition to the seat.
