Installation notes and photos for a KISS Wind Generator as installed by Bruce G on his IP-32-84, Morning Star.

Most of the parts I used to install the Generator.

Some close-ups of several of the parts that were accumulated to effect an installation.

Balancing the blades is critical to a quiet system, lead strips are used on each blade.

I cut a support base from 3/4" aluminum plate as it needed to be cantilevered to clear rail.

I chose to use 2" SS mirror finished pipe for a mast & 1.25" SS tube diagonal bracing.

To fasten the one forward facing diagonal brace I chose a fully articulating deck hinge.

The short horizontal brace is attached to a custom split assembly rail hinge fitting.

An elevation view of the complete assembly. The 2 solar panels have since been removed & relocated.

A more closeup view of the assembly

To help the installation I purchased a Garhauer kit used to install an outboard motor davit
