I would like to replace the existing g4 tungsten halogen downlights in my 2008 IP370 with LED's
Has anyone done this and where did you purchase the LED's and new switches to operate them

Richard:
You can find any LED at this great resource:
www.superbrightleds.com/
Years ago, I replaced all of our lights with LEDs from them. I made a photo essay of that conversion here:

Our 1994 IP35 light fixtures take the Bayonet 1156 base.

Thanks Hayden
Your second link didnt work unfortunately, although I did find this link
ipyoa.com/photos/62-hayden/album?albumid=143
I wanted to swap out the downlights rather than the wall lights, would you have any idea if I need the 6HP LED or 10HP LED, my yacht is in Grenada and I am in London so I cant measure the aperture

Sorry about the link, I fixed it. Thank you.
I would expect any G4 to fit.
www.superbrightleds.com/cat/boat-rv-bi-p...ilter/Base,G4,1,3377 :
The 6HP vs the 10HP is simply more LEDs/lumens/light.
Maybe someone else will have experience swapping this exact lights.

Hayden,
During a survey on an IP380 I noticed that most of the interior lights were adjustable/dim able (rheostat). Just wanted to check to insure the 9HP LEDs (1142-PCB-xWHP9) you mentioned could be used in those light fixtures. Thanks.

Hello Hayden. I have in IP380 and wish to upgrade the interior lights to LED. I could not find your photo essay on the subject... the link went to the photos page in general. My current question is how to remover the cover on the circular 12v switched ceiling lights. There are no visible screws and the lens of cover can rotate, but not release. Are they held on with spring clips ... yesterday have to pull / lever the covers off?
Many thanks
Paul
