After sailing Rock Hall to Newport, we headed off to Martha's Vineyard for the 4th of July 2002. After a week there, we returned to Newport, RI. Then back to Rock Hall, MD.

Hayden loves to trim sails, note the speed, it is 7.23 with Main and Jib. Love that IP-35.

The radar and GPS agree....7.4 SOG. We sailed off the chart. Used paper backups.

Too close to the seawall, we ask to move the next day. Tight mooring field, would anchor next time.

Double ended car ferry is a great source of entertainment every hour on the hour.

Lobster roll sandwiches are THE hot item at the 4th of July parade in Edgartown.

Everyone loves a parade especially in Edgartown.

Time to sail back to Newport to meet out southbound crew. Another wonderful sail.
