Annapolis Sailboat Races

Every Wednesday night for "many years" there have been sailboat races through the middle of the Annapolis Harbor moorings. We'd read (in a boating periodical) that after a brand new moored trawler was hit by a racing boat in August '02, boats were no longer allowed to race through the $25 per night moorings. This report turned out to be false as we found out when we happened to have our beloved Memphis Belle tied to a mooring ball on a Wednesday night in June'03.
