Lynne and I sailed to Bermuda in the 2003 West Marine Bermuda Cruising Rally with Tim and Kathleen Smith, long-time sailing friends. See the Word document for a narrative of our trip.

The fleet gathered at the new Bluewater Yachting Center in Hampton, VA

Skippers' meeting for the final weather briefing. Ready to go!

The Belle was ready to sail, but there was no wind at the start.

Dolphins joined us at several points on our voyage.

The entrance to St George's Harbour is the narrow Town Cut.

Backing in to the St Georges Dinghy Club dock--Med Mooring.

We were very kindly given an oak plank to walk back and forth on.

The St. George's Dinghy Club has a beautiful location.

One night we dressed up "Bermuda Style" for dinner at a fancy restaurant.

Huge cruise ships docked in St. George.

We saw some beautiful scenery as we cruised the island on our rented scooter.

We sailed to the western end of the island. Cruise ships were everywhere!

After our rough Gulf Stream crossing on the way home, Cape Henry looked pretty good.
