IP370 Allegro dockside at Bluewater Marina, Hampton VA. Ready for departure.

Gulf Stream crossing was under blue skies and a dying 9-15ft swell from northerly winds.

Winter attire keeps Sue Lawrence warm as we hurry to get south.

Just southeast of Gulf Stream its mild winter gale, winds 37+kts, seas 8-10ft.

Where did the wind go? Following the gale was 2 days of little to no wind vic 30N / 70W.

Here's an item in the middle of the ocean that can ruin your day if you motor over it.

This fish was too ugly to eat. Cross between eel, barracuda and prehistoric monster.

This mahi-mahi was much better eating and made up for the tuna we lost the day before

Bruce Gregory filets the mahi-mahi for dinner. Best fish and chips you can eat!

Great sunset and we actually saw the "green flash" this night. Quite a treat.

The last 500 miles are in the tropical northeasterly trades. No more foul wx gear.

Landfall! 10 days out of Hampton. Approaching Tortolla from north.
